We gift flowers to her often — not always well. The standard miss is a generic bouquet: 25 red roses in cellophane. It doesn't land, especially if she's already seen the same bouquet two or three times.
What works: designer bouquets with 3–5 varieties, fragrant sorts (freesias, Pink O'Hara), pastel or contrast palette. Size M–L (15–25 stems) is the sweet spot for most cases.
For a date — something soft and romantic. Pink O'Hara, soft-pink hydrangea, freesias. Size S–M, not bulky — so she can carry it home from the restaurant easily.
For a birthday or anniversary — go bigger. A wicker basket arrangement, a premium box, or a large 35–51 stem bouquet of top varieties. Show you read the room.
